Bud, Owner

I am the owner of the company and have worked here for 35 years. I worked as a part-time employee from its founding in September 1975 until becoming general manager in April 1978. Founder Ray Pickett later sold me the business in November of 1982. I am married to Sharon and three of our four children work with us.

Service, quality, and competence are our GOALS!

Landon, Sales Manager and Maintenance Professional

I'm Landon, and I've been with The Furnace Room since 1991. I have many qualifications in the HVAC industry, including but not limited to: Carrier brand gas heating training, modulating furnace expertise, PG&E duct installation and testing, and I am also CEG maintenance certified.

In my free time I enjoy drawing abstract art, listening to music, running or hiking, and watching football, baseball, and hockey. I am also involved with a young adults ministry at Venture church in Los Gatos.

Shalisa, Office Manager and Bookkeeper

I am the office manager and bookkeeper at The Furnace Room, and I've been here since 1999. I do the accounting and marketing for the company. A lot has changed since I first came on board in the 1990s, and I hope you enjoy our new website!

I am married and have two sons. I enjoy gardening, cooking, reading, camping, and playing with my kids.

Ryan, Quality Control Manager and Comfort Advisor

Employed by The Furnace Room since 1993, I am one of Bud's sons and am coming up on 20 years with the company. I'm EPA-certified in PG&E duct sealing.

I am married with two kids. I enjoy fishing, sports, camping, and spending time with my family. Meeting new people through this industry and helping out in any way I can to make them comfortable is a passion of my profession.

Greg, Service and Maintenance Professional

I have been with The Furnace room for over 10 years now. I received my diploma in HVAC from IBT and grew up in the Silicon Valley. I've been working with electronics of all kinds for over three decades.

I enjoy spending my free time kayaking and hiking in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains.

Morgan, Purchasing and Shop Manager

My name is Morgan and I am the new kid on the block, relatively speaking, having been with The Furnace Room since 2008. I've received extensive in-house gas furnace maintenance training and I keep the shop organized and running smoothly.

I am married with two sons. I enjoy music, sports, car and motorcycle racing. I love working on anything with an engine.

Brandy, Receptionist and Administrative Assistant

Hi, I'm Brandy. When you call the office, it is likely me on the other end taking your call. I've been working in the office at The Furnace Room headquarters since 2008.

I'm married and have a daughter. I enjoy beach days, lake trips and bike rides as a family, as well as getting together with friends for movie/game nights.

Sharon, Vice President and Payroll

Employed with The Furnace Room since 1982, my husband Bud and I have built this business over three decades into what it has become today: the leading heating and air conditioning installation and servicing in the Santa Cruz and Tri-County area. I am proud to be a part of this wonderful, family-owned and operated business.

I now have four children and seven grandchildren. I love to read and garden. My kids think I read too much, since I am always giving them articles or telling them information I have read!
